Frank Egan is the Chief Executive Officer
of LAC Lawyers and has over 27 years of experience as a
lawyer. Frank practises in many areas of business

John Bingham B.A.,
LL.B.
John commenced his legal career in 1981
working in a para-legal capacity in the Oil & Gas Division
of a major project engineering firm. While there, he prepared
applications for statutory authorisations, advised on a large
range of legal requirements for client and company activities,
and negotiated and prepared documentation for property
acquisitions.
Upon admission as a solicitor, John
practised in a wide range of areas. However from early on, he
has concentrated on commercial law, property law, commercial
litigation, and industrial and employment law.
John opened his own law firm in 1999 and
continued to concentrate on commercial law, property law and
conveyancing, commercial litigation and industrial and
employment law. He has been involved in a diverse variety of
cases, extending from the conduct of litigation in most courts
to advising on charter party agreements for maritime
businesses. John has developed a keen interest in
aspects of maritime law, including giving advice to tug boat
operators and marina businesses. He sees this as complementary
to his keenness for sailing and love of the water.

Michael Lee B.A.,
LL.B.
Michael was admitted to the Supreme Court
in 1992 and the High Court of Australia in 1993 and has spent
over twelve years in civil practice. In that time he has dealt
with many issues commonly challenging today’s business
enterprise as well as a range of commercial, property and
estate matters.
Over the years Michael has developed
particular areas of practice including property, equity and
estate disputes, sale and purchase of business, commercial and
retail leasing, partnership and corporate disputes. This is in
addition to usual practice experience drafting wills, Powers
of Attorney, the appointment of enduring guardians, commercial
and residential conveyancing including retirement village sale
and purchase and applications for probate and claims on
deceased estates.

Arul Niles LL.M.
Arul has a master degree from the
University of Sydney and is an accomplished practitioner with
over 15 years experience in complex commercial and general
litigation in both the private and government sectors.
He has had the conduct of matters in the High Court, Federal
Court, Supreme Court, Local Court and the Industrial Relations
Commission.
In the areas of commercial and general
litigation Arul has dealt with contract disputes, company and
partnership disputes, insolvency and debt recovery. When
involved in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements he
has dealt with franchise agreements, distribution agreements,
shareholder agreements, joint venture agreements, investment
agreements, leases, the sale and purchase of businesses and
the protection of intellectual property.
He has extensive experience of the Trade
Practices Act and has had the conduct of matters under Parts 4
and 5 of the TPA initiated by the Australian Competition and
Consumer Commission (ACCC).
